汽車筆直插在屋頂上，校車被強風吹到四輪朝天，上千棟房屋毀損，墨西哥邊境科阿韋拉州，當地時間25號早上被暴風雨襲擊，其中突然來襲，時速高達三百公里的龍捲風，捲走路上走避不及的行人車輛。一名母親手上抱著的嬰兒也被颳走，到現在還下落不明。當地雖然緊臨龍捲風好發的美國德州，但卻是百年來第一次出現龍捲風，目前已知13死，150人受傷，救難人員持續在瓦礫堆中搜救。距離墨西哥災區三公里外的德州，則是飽受龍捲風、暴雨及洪水所苦，2千人緊急撤離。州長宣布德州24個郡進入緊急狀態。

房子徹底從地表上消失
豪雨導致布蘭科河水位暴漲，洪水沖垮房屋，水泥橋樑，沖走一輛休旅車，所幸駕駛在千鈞一髮之際從窗戶逃生檢回一命。目前仍有12人失蹤。其中八人是一家人，當時他們在觀光勝地溫布里渡假，人跟整間房子一起被洪水帶走，德州國民兵持續沿著河岸進行搜索。根據美國國家氣象局的預報，德州中北部以及奧克拉荷馬，接下來還會出現超大雷雨，伴隨毀滅性的強風，災情可能進一步擴大。
